The Carretera Austral is slowly but surely being paved and I don&#8217;t even know how much there is left now that looks like this anymore.</p>

People there say riding  a mountain bike in winter on a 1,5 m deep ice is a fantastic experience. My  husband and I wanted to try it once! Aug. 2008.</p>
